PIICON 2022
Power India International Conference 2022 – PIICON 2022, under the aegis of IEEE PES-IAS Delhi Chapter as well as IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter, the 10th in the series will be held from 25 – 27 November 2022 at National Institute of Technology Delhi, India.
The theme of the conference is ‘Recent Advancements in the area of Electrical Engineering, Decarbonisation of Grid and EV Infrastructure’.
With a variety of events like plenary sessions, keynote addresses by reputed academicians, tutorials, workshops, Student Paper contests, industry exhibits and stalls and most importantly, high quality presentations from the best of the researchers in India, no effort is being spared to make the 10th edition of PIICON, the best so far.
OBJECTIVE AND VISION
The conference PIICON 2022 provides an opportunity for researchers, academicians, scientists, and professional engineers to present their work, publish their results, exchange ideas, and network for scientific and industrial collaborations. The emphasis will be on peer-reviewed papers with high technical quality. All papers presented in the conference will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore for possible inclusion, and all the presented papers will be eligible for further review to be published in the IEEE Transaction on Industry Applications or IEEE IAS Magazine. There will be few tutorials on the relevant topics. The conference will also provide an opportunity for software/hardware vendors as well as publishers to display their products.
Previous PIICON
The proposed conference IEEE Power India International Conference (PIICON-2022) is in its 10th edition and before that it has been successfully organized by premier institutes, like IIT Delhi, DTU Delhi, DCRUST Murthal, NIT Kurukshetra and EC Bikaner etc… under the aegis of IEEE PES-IAS Delhi chapter as well as IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter as financial sponsors of the conference. The earlier editions were also technically sponsored by IAS, PELS, PES.
9th IEEE Power India International Conference- PIICON-2020, was held from 28 Feb- 01 March 2020 at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Delhi- National Capital Region, India. The Conference theme was, “Reinventing the Electric Power Systems”. 236 manuscripts were submitted to PIICON2020, of which 166 papers were accepted in the final program and 159 papers were presented.
8th IEEE Power India International Conference (PIICON-2018) organized at National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana, India from 10th -12th Dec, 2018. The participants came from across the world to exchange knowledge, experience and research ideas on Power System Operation and Control, Power System Planning, Power System Reliability, Power System Stability, Renewable energy sources and storage, Power electronics and drives, Smart grid etc. The conference aims to put together the experts from these areas to disseminate their knowledge and experience for working towards Planning Operation and Control of Futuristic Power Systems. Total 215 papers were submitted out of which 131 papers were selected through a rigorous review. Overall, 130 papers were presented orally in 20 technical sessions spread over three days of conference. Many technology firms OPAL-RT Technologies, Typhon-HIL, PRDC etc. participated in the conference by displaying their products and solutions in the Exhibition during the conference.
7th IEEE Power India International Conference (PIICON 2016) held at THE LALLGARH PALACE – A HERITAGE HOTEL. The conference is quite a success in the sense that more than 800 papers from different countries from across the globe. The reviewers for the papers were academicians and professional from India and abroad. Keeping in view the theme of conference, more than 350 papers are selected for presentation in the conference. The conference has a total of 54 paper presentation session, 3 keynote addresses, and 1 Invited talk. A large number of papers among invited papers have been accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Applications after rigorous peer review.
